About

Oh look!  Another Julia Child blog!  What?  Another blog by another desperate housewife.  Not so much.  Have I cooked my way through the Julia Child cookbook?  Mostly.  I love Julia, and I thought the movie was great, but there are some things that I just think look gross, so I know there is no way my family will eat them.  And what is the point of cooking when no one wants to try what you've made?

I believe in the power of food.  I believe that anyone can cook delicious, nutritious meals that the entire family will love (that won't take hours or kill your budget).  I think that dessert is not sinful, but a mender of broken hearts, a tool for friends to bond over laughs, a spoonful of cookie dough filled memories for an adult, and a special way to show your loved ones that you care.

Be a fearless foodie in training!  Try new recipes and impress your friends and family.

"Food can look beautiful, taste exquisite, smell wonderful, make people feel good, bring them together, inspire romantic feelings...At its most basic, it is fuel for a hungry machine."  ~Rosamond Richardson
